In the year, 2014,  with a call and a mandate to reach the northern corridor of Cincinnati and beyond the Legacy Pointe launch team was formed.  This team met at different venues (Union Centre Panera, Tri-County Panera, & Indiana Wesleyan) throughout the city of Cincinnati.  Lengthy discussions took place on various topics (vision of LP, community outreach, etc.).  The first city-wide Good Friday Service (7 Words of Freedom) was held at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on April 18, 2014 at 6:30 pm.

In 2015, LP was definitely a church on the move and membership was increasing. After being portable for 15 months, we started holding services in a temporary home (Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church) on November 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm. As we continue to grow, we prayed that the Lord will bless us with a permanent home.

In April, 2016 our prayers were answered. We held our first morning worship in a new home, Mother’s Day, 2016.  The official grand opening of LP took place September 18, 2016 at 11:00 am. The LP Launch Team became the LP Core Leadership Team. Immediately, preparations were made to raise funds to purchase our new home. A Legacy Pointe Builders Campaign was established and the blessings started pouring in.

June, 2017, the members of Legacy Pointe purchased our new home at the current location-6280 Kugler Mill in Sycamore township near Kenwood Mall and in 2018 we dedicated our Church campus and installed our founding Pastor, Paul Booth Jr. We are a Church that is committed to living out our Point’s of Purpose to love, lift, lead, and live! As the Word reminds us: “Eyes have not seen nor ears have they heard what the Lord shall do for those that love him”. Join us on the journey, your legacy begins here!
